Suzanne Degrugillier
Receptionist & Client Billing
Suzanne was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. She graduated cum laude from North Dakota State University in December of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in English; with emphasis on psychology and American literature. Suzanne has been with Wold Johnson, P.C. since January of 2016 as the primary receptionist and client billing specialist. Suzanne lives in South Fargo and enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs.

Michelle Hallman
Paralegal
Michelle joined Wold Johnson, P.C. in 2015 as a paralegal. She graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1996. She completed a paralegal Certificate with the University of North Dakota in 2015. Michelle and her husband, Jeff, reside in Fargo and have two children. Michelle enjoys reading, watching her kids’ activities, and spending time outdoors.

LeAnn Schmidt
Legal Assistant
LeAnn graduated from Minnesota State University – Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and minors in Philosophy and Political Science. After graduating from college, she enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Paralegal Specialist and worked at the Judge Advocate General’s Office in the Criminal Law division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Upon exiting the military, she then worked as an Electronic Court Recorder and Deputy Clerk for the Southeast Judicial District, North Dakota.

Janet Astrup
Administrative Assistant
Janet currently works in the fields of criminal and employment law. After graduating from Moorhead Area Vocational Technical Institute, Janet worked at several law firms for a few years before coming to Wold Johnson, P.C. Janet and her husband, Paul, reside in Moorhead, Minnesota. They have one daughter, Anna, son-in-law, Travis, and two adorable granddaughters. In Janet’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in church activities, reading, and doing crafts.

Lois Novacek
Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
A life-long Fargo resident, Lois began her career in the legal field in 1975 after obtaining an Associate Degree in Legal Secretary from Interstate Business College. She gained considerable experience in many areas of law while assisting several attorneys in their practices. In 1996, she earned an Associate Degree in Legal Assistant from Interstate Business College and her specialty became family law. She is lifetime member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), having earned and since maintained her CLA/CPA designation in 1997. She currently assists the firm as bookkeeper and as a go-to problem solver for both attorneys and support staff.
